Service is undoubtedly the most important factor and our highly experience team put warm, professional service central to everything. We also enjoy an excellent location, right next door to Barbican station.
Customer retention and referrals are high. Many clients have been using the venue since it opened in 2006. We enjoy very strong customer loyalty for example, 19 of our top 20 clients were retained from 2011 to 2012 and new clients are regularly referred to us.
We are passionate about meeting our client’s training needs and we have a raft of procedures in place to ensure this happens. Including capturing feedback through event evaluation, account management and creating space and services specific to client needs.
Prime Minister David Cameron visited etc.venues a few months before we found this excellent new venue and said SME’s like us should power the UK’s economic growth by being bold, thinking big, expanding and creating jobs. etc.venues Victoria has done just that – harnessing true vision to turn some well located but unloved Public Sector offices into some of the most vibrant and inviting training spaces in London with the added attraction of a spacious courtyard garden.
The venue has gained a reputation for high service levels and excellent catering (carried out by expert staff who have filled those new jobs the PM mentioned).
Lane End Conference Centre
Lane End Conference Centre is a conference & training venue like no other; set in 26 acres of beautiful rolling Chiltern countryside and purpose built in 1969 on the grounds of what was once a well known private girls’ school boasting, amongst others, Julie Christie as one of the pupils.
Today the Centre is comprised of 5 separate buildings so our clients are able to take full advantage of our flexibility and capability of offering them exclusive use of areas for training, meeting, dining and sleeping. Thus, an organisation can be on our site with their competitors at the same time – securely housed in their own private and exclusive area.
London Irish Centre
The London Irish Centre (LIC) in Camden is a charismatic community hub and newly renovated training venue offering a relaxed, non-corporate environment and five event spaces with capacity for 500. Commercial hire is exclusively managed by Off to Work, the award-winning event staffing supplier, whose own training academy is based at LIC.
LIC is popular with government bodies, London businesses, the emergency services, Blue Chip corporates, cultural and welfare associations. Authentic Irish hospitality is central, from the methodology influencing catering to the warm customer service.
Hospitality and event service training have benefited this year from investment into a top-of-the-range barista coffee machine, premium baking ovens and table settings.

Set in heart of the country within minutes of the M1 and M40 next to Silverstone Circuit, Whittlebury Hall provides purpose-built facilities - 20 spacious conference and training suites, 28 fully serviced syndicate rooms, an executive boardroom, three secluded private dining rooms, two conference and banqueting suites (Brooklands and Grand Prix Suites) and can cater for up to 500 delegates.
Wyboston Lakes Training Centre
Wyboston Lakes is one of the UK’s largest privately owned single site specialist conference and training venues. In 2012 it completed an extensive re-development programme. The multi-million pound project was designed to strengthen still further the facilities offered to clients, extending their choice and addressing even more effectively their different demands and priorities.
As part of the refurbishment investment was made it the IT/AV capabilities. Doubling its broadband service to 200 Mbps; enhancing its audio-visual systems with leading HDMI presentation technology, advanced techniques for troubleshooting connectivity problems remotely and effective multi-broadcasting. A powerful combination that opens up new horizons for organisers in their quest to achieve new levels of effectiveness, impact and involvement. This new technology won them the HBAA Best Use of Technology Award 2012.
