Best Small Conference Venue (under 300 delegates)

Cavendish Conference Centre

The single most important thing which distinguishes us from our competitors is an obsession with customer service. This starts with the most comprehensive tracking of how our customers see us and ends with an annual review of customer retention in terms of volume and value. For the past 15 years over 90% of our business by value has been accounted for by repeat clients. Monitoring of our client’s needs has resulted in a continuous programme of improvement, most clearly evidenced by our consistently market leading green credentials.

De Vere Venues, Holborn Bars

Located in central London, Holborn Bars is a striking Victorian Gothic property.  A grand central staircase greets delegates as they walk through the door, leading to 40 stately board and meeting rooms.
A highly versatile venue, Holborn Bars can provide dedicated space, branded areas and bespoke menu solutions from the on-site fine dining restaurant. With a team of dedicated event planners on hand offering assistance throughout each event at the venue, customer service is at the core of De Vere Venues ethos, ensuring a personalised approach to each client’s conferencing and event requirements.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House

Nestled in the rolling North Somerset countryside, DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House has gained an enviable reputation as the leading venue in the South West for conferences, events and meetings.

The historic house, which dates back to 1790, provides the perfect backdrop and the 11 different rooms have fantastic panoramic views of the countryside.

The venue’s proximity to Bristol Airport attracts many overseas business visitors and its easy access to the M5 (J20 and J21), direct train links to London from Yatton station and parking for up to 350 cars are a number of reasons why organisers find it an ideal venue.

With 132 bedrooms, a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill and an award-winning health club and spa on site, no other venue can match its facilities.

etc.venues, Prospero House

When we opened Prospero House in 2005 our vision was to create a venue so closely moulded to the needs of the people that use it that it would be quite simply the most effective conference, training and meeting space available to today’s event organiser.

The venue was expanded in 2008 by turning the large Victorian ex Post Office next door into a state of the art conference suite. This hugely flexible venue across 3 large floors is a real powerhouse and offers a distraction free environment backed up by high quality catering and event management experts. Prospero House is a vibrant breath of fresh air compared to old style, uninspiring conference space still offered by some competitors.

IET Glasgow: Teacher Building

We have only one focus and that is to be the ‘best’ small conference centre in the UK providing a first class facility and service to all its customers, surpassing user expectations.

London Irish Centre

The London Irish Centre (LIC) in Camden is a charismatic, newly refurbished venue with five bright and airy event spaces. Free WiFi, full AV support and expert food and drink knowledge make LIC popular for training, conferences, dinners, fashion shows and product launches.

In 2012, catering moved in-house, with head chef Gus Martin championing authentic Irish cuisine, sourced locally and made on site.

LIC’s client portfolio has grown 150% since LIC’s takeover in October 2011 by Sliced Events in partnership with Off to Work, and retention is high with clients including government bodies, emergency services, Blue Chips, cultural and welfare associations. Conferencing contributes £2,000 monthly to support charitable work within Britain’s Irish communities.
