Rules

  • All categories are awarded based on the decision of our independent panel of judges.
  • Entries can refer to any events held or services provided between 1st November 2011 and 31st December 2012.
  • The deadline for all entries is 15th February 2013
  • Shortlisted entrants will be notified on April 11th 2013
  • The winners will be announced at the Conference Awards ceremony at the Brewery on 7th June
  • The winners of all of the category awards will be announced but in the interests of time will not be invited up to the stage. Instead the trophy will be delivered to the relevant table and winners photographs will be taken afterwards.
  • There will be an additional award for the overall best venue and the overall best supplier at the ceremony. These winners will be invited to accept their award on stage.
  • A venue or supplier may be entered in more than one category, but each entry must be accompanied by an entry form and the entry fee.
  • There is no limit to the number of entries one company can make.
  • Judges reserve the right, without prior consent of the entrant, to move entries to different categories if they feel it is more appropriate.
  • The judges’ decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into and no reasons given for decisions.
  • Judges will absent themselves from any discussions where they have a vested interest.
  • All information provided to judges will be used solely for the purposes of assessing the entries. Potentially sensitive information will not be made public.
  • The price per entry is £175 plus VAT.
  • For entry fee prices only one discount offer may apply.
  • The entry fee is non refundable.
  • Winners may state in advertising and promotional material that they have won, but they must state the year the Award was won.
  • The entry fee must accompany the entry. Entries received without payment will not be judged.
